In this hands-on workshop you will learn the secrets to mixing, rolling, filling and shaping the perfect ravioli, tortellini and many other filled pasta. Immerse yourself in real Italian cooking culture and pick up all the secrets to sucessful pasta making!
Learning how to make pasta is easier than you think. Even beginners can pick it up! You’ll get plenty of advice from me, as you unwind and have fun in my home kitchen. Your Italian pasta making session will be a mix of individual work, work in pairs and demonstrations.
Throughout this class you’ll learn:
- How to choose the right ingredients for perfect pasta dough and how to make variations of it.
- The technique to get a smooth and silky texture.
- How to use a pasta machine to roll out and shape fresh pasta.
- How to handle pasta dough to make countless shapes out of it.
- Some great ideas on different fillings and sauces to pair with them.
- How to cook and store fresh-filled pasta.
At the end of the class, you’ll sit down to enjoy your delicious homemade Italian pasta with a drink or two.
In this class you’ll make:
- Fresh egg pasta dough from scratch.
- Ravioli, tortellini and other filled pasta shapes.
- Two different fillings (spinach and ricotta as well as squash and goat cheese).
- A sauce to accompany your pasta (this will vary according to the best seasonal products available and your dietary requirements).

- This class is on request only for groups of four to eight people. Please get in touch to find a suitable time for you.
- I can accommodate different dietary requirements, so please let me know via the booking question.
- This class is suitable for 14-year-olds and above, however under 14s are welcome when accompanied by a paying adult/guardian. Everyone in the kitchen needs to have their own individual paid spot regardless of age.
- All the ingredients and equipment you need to make some delicious pasta to enjoy at your class or take home, including an apron for you to wear in class.
- Complimentary tea and coffee.

- Paper and pen if you’d like to take notes.
- Your favourite bottle of wine if you want to indulge.
