HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS?

To book one of my classes, please head to the calendar on the homepage or to the classes page. Choose the date and time that suits you best and pay via Paypal or credit card.

HOW CAN I HAVE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLASS I’M BOOKING?

If you wish to receive more info prior to a booking, please get in touch at info@thesweetbit.com

WHERE THE CLASSES TAKE PLACE?

The classes take place in my home kitchen located in Hampstead, a cozy and well equipped environment to host small groups of people.

DO YOU TEACH AT PEOPLE’S PLACE?

Depending on the kind of class you request, I may be available to teach on location. Please get in touch to discuss options and availability.

WHAT SIZE ARE THE CLASSES?

Classes are small size (4-6 people), so you can work comfortably and have my full attention.

HOW DO CLASSES WORK?

Classes are very hands-on, with a mix of individual work, in pairs work and some demo. In every class I will guide you step by step to the final result, explaining the techniques and the chemistry behind each recipe. You will be  surprised of what you can achieve!

WHAT TIME DO THE CLASSES START AND FINISH?

Classes take place at different time and different days of the week, including weekends. They also have different duration and price according to the content. Please check the classes page or classes calendar to have more info about each class.

DO I NEED TO HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE TO ATTEND YOUR CLASSES?

No, you don’t! I will guide you step by step through the process and each recipe will be the opportunity to learn new techniques that you can reuse at home.

DO I NEED TO HAVE A STAND MIXER AT HOME TO REPLICATE YOUR RECIPES?

No, you don’t! In my classes I tend to use basic equipment that everyone has at home, so you can easily reproduce all the recipes on your own.

DO YOU TEACH ONLY IN ENGLISH?

I’ve learned how to cook and bake in different countries, so I enjoy teaching not only in English, but also in Spanish, Portuguese and Italian!

I’M ALLERGIC TO CERTAIN FOODS or I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENT. WHAT SHOULD I DO IN THIS CASE?

If you have allergies, intolerance or dietary requirements, please get in touch before booking a class and I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs.

WILL I GET THE RECIPES?

For sustainability reasons, recipes won’t be printed and handed in class, unless expressly required.
Instead, you’ll be emailed all the recipes shortly after the class.

WILL I TAKE HOME THE FOOD I MADE?

Yes! Everyone in class will have his own share of what we’ve been making to take home and enjoy with friends and family.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING/WEAR IN CLASS?

Please make sure you wear comfortable clothes and have your hair tied up.
You don’t need to bring anything for the day, I will provide everything you need, including an apron to wear in class and boxes to take food home. If you want to help me lessen the impact on the environment, please feel free to bring your own containers and reusable carrier bags.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO BOOK ONE OF YOUR CLASSES?

Unless booked as a private session, each class requires a minimum age of 14-years-old for attendance. Exceptions to this age requirement must be agreed in advance. However, everyone in the kitchen must have their own individual paid spot regardless of age.

DO YOU HAVE ANY CLASSES AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN?

If you want to organise a private children session, please get in touch to discuss options and availability.

WILL I RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE AFTER A CLASS?

My classes do not provide official qualification, so I unfortunately cannot issue certificates.

CAN I BUY A GIFT CARD?

Of course you can! For a great gift, surprise someone with a voucher for one of my classes.
Simply head to the “Gift vouchers” page and purchase one. You will receive a digital gift voucher that you can email directly to your loved ones. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M LATE OR I CANNOT MAKE IT?

Please be punctual for the class, so you can make the most out of it. If you are late, you will be joining the class at the stage it is when you arrive. In case of private classes, we won’t be able to cover the full program, as the sessions will not run over the established time. Please check in advance for strikes, weather conditions, etc. and plan accordingly. Please note that if you don’t show up for whatever reason, you will not be entitled to a refund or a replacement class.

CAN I CANCEL A CLASS I’VE BOOKED?

Confirmed bookings are not eligible for refunds or cancellations under any circumstances. If you are unable to attend a class you’ve booked, please let me know by writing an email to info@thesweetbit.com and I’ll try to resell your place. If I’m able to replace you for the class, you can choice to reschedule or get a refund.  Alternatively you can transfer the booking to another person.
