Looking for sweet things to do in London this Winter? Learn to bake delicious Christmas goodies perfect as edible presents in this fun, hands-on baking class.

I’ll guide you step by step through three different seasonal recipes and you’ll pick up a batch of baking tips and techniques while you enjoy the afternoon with other likeminded people.

If you’re looking for a family get-together, a small corporate team building event or a different idea for a group of friends to enjoy, then this desserts class is for you! It’s ideal for beginners and seasoned bakers, so no matter what your skill level, everyone is welcome.

You’ll finish this baking class feeling proud of your treats, ready to head home and spoil your loved ones. You’ll also leave with new knowledge and skills to enhance your future home baking at Christmas and beyond!

 

IN THIS CLASS YOU WILL LEARN TO:

  • Prepare traditional Linzer dough, a spiced almond/hazelnut-based shortcrust pastry traditional from Austria, that can be used for biscuits and tarts
  • Evenly roll out biscuits dough and cut out shapes to perfection
  • Make traditional Italian biscotti, enriched with nuts and zests for a flavour boost
  • Make chocolate Viennese Whirls biscuits and learn how to pipe soft cookie dough
  • Prepare traditional English vanilla buttercream
  • Get creative and make countless variations of the recipes used in class

What to bring:

  • A pen and a notebook if you’d like to take your own notes.
  • I will provide everything, but if you want to help lessen the impact on the environment, please bring your own tupperware and a reusable bag to take bakes home.

 

*Minimum age*
Unless booked as a private session, this class requires a minimum age of 14-years-old for attendance. Exceptions to this age requirement must be agreed in advance. However, everyone in the kitchen needs to have their own individual paid spot regardless of age.
